Scanning support is not the same as database coverage
A card appearing in a catalog does not by itself establish camera recognition or an available market price. PokeLenz's public database spans additional games and Pokémon languages, while scanning and price coverage have their own limits.
Published release notes list One Piece and Gundam with limited support. Check the current app notes before relying on either for a large inventory. Do the same for a particular language or a newly released set.
Choose photo or Live scanning
Use a photo when cards are arranged in a binder or laid out with their identifying details visible. Use Live mode when working through a loose stack. The 3.0 release introduced multiple TCGs in one photo; review matches from each game before saving.
Start with a small representative sample: one familiar card from each game, then a variant or printing you want to verify. Check the selected game, set, number and finish instead of treating similar artwork as the same card.
Organize across games without losing the details
Build binders around a game, a collection goal or a group of favorites. Custom covers and backgrounds can make those collections easy to distinguish. Wishlists and the trade analyzer support the decisions that follow identification.
Portfolio views help you follow saved holdings over time, with card and sealed-product views where supported. Adding a new collection can change its total value even when individual market prices have not moved.
Use the right price reference
PokeLenz uses TCGplayer market data for supported cards and printings. A missing price does not mean a card has no value. Some languages, variants or newly added cards may not have that pricing coverage.
Multi-game support is also offered by other apps. When comparing them, test your actual games and languages and look at the organizing tools you need after the scan, rather than choosing solely by the number of catalog entries.
