- 1. Choose the language and scanning mode. English Pokémon scanning is included. For Japanese cards, enable the optional Japanese Pokémon scan pack. Use a photo for a group or Live mode for a stack.
- 2. Give the camera a clear view. Keep cards fully in frame and reduce glare from sleeves. For a crowded page, move closer or scan a smaller group if the details are hard to see.
- 3. Check the card and its price. Review the name, set, card number and finish. Choose the correct printing before using its available market value.
- 4. Build your collection. Review quantities and add the cards you want to keep. Arrange them in a digital binder or use your collection to see what you already own.

How do I scan a Pokémon card with my phone?
Open PokeLenz on iPhone or Android and choose a scanning mode. Keep the card fully visible in even lighting, then check the returned name, set and card number. Confirm the printing and finish before adding it to your collection.
Can I scan multiple Pokémon cards at once?
Yes. Multi Card/photo mode recognizes multiple cards in one frame, including cards in binder pages. The binder demo on this page shows four pages in the frame and 35 recognized cards in the results. Results depend on lighting, glare, framing and the cards being scanned.
Can PokeLenz scan cards in sleeves or a binder?
Yes, as the binder demo shows. Keep the card artwork and number visible and tilt the page or adjust the light to reduce reflections. If a card is missed or matched incorrectly, try a closer photo or scan that card separately.
Does the Pokémon card scanner show prices?
PokeLenz displays available TCGplayer market data for supported Pokémon cards and printings. Check the exact set, card number and finish: a normal card and a reverse holo can have different values. Market prices are estimates; condition, language and the marketplace affect what a card may sell for.
Is PokeLenz free to download?
Yes. PokeLenz is free to download on iPhone and Android and includes a free scanning allowance. Scanning allowances and collection limits vary by plan. The app shows the current offer and limits.
Can I scan Japanese Pokémon cards?
PokeLenz includes English Pokémon scanning and offers Japanese Pokémon as an optional scan pack. Enable the matching language pack in the app and check its current card coverage. Review the returned language, set and printing before saving.
Can I keep scanned cards in a digital binder?
Yes. After reviewing your scan results, use the collection or binder controls to add the cards you want to keep. You can organize your collection in custom digital binders and track the cards you own.
