PokeLenz Major Update 3.0 (Multi-TCG Update)
PokeLenz 3.0 is Here. With Multi-TCG Support.
Hey everyone,
Last time we told you we were just getting started.
We meant it.
If 2.0 was about rebuilding how scanning works, 3.0 is about rebuilding what PokéLenz is. This update adds entirely new games, a scanner that can read them all at once, home screen widgets, a reworked binder experience, a brand new trade tool, and a whole lot more.
This is the biggest release in the app's history. Let's jump in. Android users, the update should be out for you guys any day now! iOS users, it's available now!
PokéLenz Isn't Just Pokémon Anymore
This is the headline.
PokéLenz now scans and tracks:
Disney Lorcana Magic: The Gathering Riftbound Palworld TCG Japanese Pokémon cards
Yes — we know the name still says Poké. We're aware. Pokémon is home base and always will be, but the single most requested thing we've heard from you is some version of: "I collect more than one game, and I don't want three different apps to keep track of it."
So now you don't have to.
Every game gets the same treatment: scanning, collection tracking, binders, wishlists, portfolio value — the full app. Your Lorcana pulls live right next to your Pokémon pulls.
A note on Japanese cards. Some of you will remember we shipped early, limited Japanese support in 2.0 — search-only, no scanning, patchy data. That's over. Japanese Pokémon is now a properly supported, fully scannable game with real set browsing. Thanks for being patient with the training-wheels version.
Keeping with our usual transparency: the newer games are newer to us too. Coverage is strong but not flawless, and you may find the occasional missing image, thin card detail, or price that needs a second look. We're actively filling gaps, and thanks to over-the-air updates (shipped in 2.0), most of those fixes reach you without an app store update. If you spot something wrong, tell us — that feedback loop is genuinely how these databases get good.
The Rebuilt Scanner: One Photo, Every Game
We rebuilt the scanning engine. Again.
We know — we just did that. But supporting five more games meant the old approach of "figure out which Pokémon card this is" needed to become "figure out what this card is, period." That's a fundamentally harder problem, and it needed new foundations.
The result is the feature we're most excited about in this entire release:
You can scan multiple TCGs in a single photo.
Dump a mixed pile on the table. Pokémon, Lorcana, Magic, all jumbled together. Take one picture. The scanner identifies each card, works out which game it belongs to, and files it into the right place in your collection.
No mode switching. No picking a game first. No sorting your pile before you sort your pile. If you want to make the scanner the most accurate it can be, you can select a single TCG to make sure there's no mix-ups. We think you guys will love it.
On top of that, the new engine brings:
Better accuracy across the board, including on the tough stuff — glare, angles, sleeves, partial obstruction Faster recognition in both batch and live mode Improved handling of variants and reprints, which matter a lot more once Magic is in the mix More reliable detection on graded slabs and binder pages
Batch scanning and live mode both carry over and both got faster. Same workflow you already know — it just handles more now.

Home Screen Widgets
You shouldn't have to open the app to know how your collection is doing.
PokéLenz 3.0 adds home screen widgets:
Portfolio Value — your total collection value at a glance Movers — what's up, what's down, since you last looked Binders — jump straight into the binder you actually use Set Progress — track how close you are to completing a set without digging for it
Pick the ones you care about, size them how you like, and let your collection live on your home screen.
Small feature. Weirdly addictive. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Binders, Rebuilt
Your binders are the part of the app you show people. They should look like it.
We rebuilt the binder UI from the ground up with customization as the priority:
Cleaner, faster layout that scales properly from a handful of cards to a full collection Far deeper customization — make each binder look and feel like yours Better organization tools for arranging and rearranging pages Smoother navigation with less tapping to get where you're going
Multi-game support runs through here too. Keep games separate, or build a binder that mixes everything — your call.
Building a binder should feel closer to actually sitting down with a binder. This is the closest we've gotten.
We've adjusted the apperance of cards and spacing to make things more beautiful.
We've also made binders more shareable than ever. Sharing a binder generates a permanent hosted link that anyone can view and interact with your binders. Try it out!

Trade Analyzer
New feature, and one we're beating ourselves up over having not thought of earlier.
Trades are hard to eyeball. Values move, conditions differ, and "is this fair?" usually turns into a group chat argument and four open browser tabs.
The Trade Analyzer lets you build out both sides of a potential trade and see how it actually shakes out — what you're giving, what you're getting, and where the deal lands.
Use it to sanity check an offer before you commit. Use it to put together something fair before you send it. Use it to settle the argument in the group chat.
One honest caveat: it's a tool, not an oracle. Market values are a snapshot, and a trade is also about what you want. Cards you love are worth more to you than any number we can print. Use it as a starting point, not a verdict.

Portfolio Value, Revamped
Portfolio tracking got a full rework.
Value tracking is now clearer, more accurate, and considerably more useful:
Better breakdowns of where your value actually sits Improved tracking over time so you can see how your collection moves Multi-game aware, so every game you collect rolls into one picture
Whether you're tracking a long-term investment or just curious what that childhood binder in the closet is doing these days, the numbers are easier to read and easier to trust.
Share Everything
Collecting is social. Half the fun of a good pull is showing someone. So 3.0 makes sharing a first-class part of the app instead of an afterthought.
Deep binder sharing
This is the part we went furthest on.
Binders are no longer something you can only look at inside the app. You can now share a binder properly — the layout, the customization, the cards, the whole thing exactly as you built it. Everything you did in the new binder editor comes with it.
Send it to a friend. Post it. Drop it in your trade thread so nobody has to ask "what do you actually have?" again. If you've spent an evening arranging a binder page until it looked right, that work is finally shareable.
Showcases
New feature, and one of our favorites.
Showcases let you build a curated display of the cards you want people to see. Not your whole collection, not a full binder — just the highlights. Your grails. Your best pulls this year. The chase card you finally landed. That one weird misprint you're inexplicably proud of.
Arrange it, style it, and share it as a single clean piece. Think of it as the display case version of your collection.
Collection showcases
And when you do want to show the whole thing, you can. Collection showcases turn your full collection into a shareable overview — scale, spread, set progress, the works.
Perfect for the "how big is your collection actually?" conversation, or for anyone who wants a single link that answers it.

Everything here is built to look good outside the app, in the places you're already posting. No ugly exports, no PokéLenz watermark eating half the image.
Your call on what's visible. Sharing is opt-in per item, every time. Nothing goes out unless you send it, and if you'd rather keep your portfolio value out of a public showcase, that's a toggle — not a compromise.

And There's More
As always, this release carries dozens of smaller refinements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements underneath the headline features. Some are obvious. Most aren't. Together they're a big part of why the app feels better to use.
PokéLenz started as a simple way to scan and identify Pokémon cards.
3.0 is the version where it becomes something bigger: one place for everything you collect, across every game you collect it in. That's been the goal for a long time, and this is the release where it finally shows up.
Thank you for the feedback, the feature requests, the bug reports, and the patience. This one took a while, and it was worth it.
PokéLenz 3.0 is live for iOS and in review for Android.
Scan a mixed pile. Set up your widgets. Rebuild a binder. Run a trade through the analyzer. Build a showcase and post it — we'd love to see what you've got.
Then come tell us what you think.
We're still just getting started.
Thanks for being part of the PokéLenz community.
